Our company
HISTORY
Our company was founded in 1891, a family-owned company, named after the Bricq family, a successful and wealthy textile family. The company was producing machine felts and household woolen textiles in Montbron, near Angoulême.
In 1910, the industrial textile division started, with the rise of the woven transmission belts used in the machinery of the second industrial revolution.
As early as 1936, Bricq started the production of corrugator belts, which until then, remains the main application of our heavy duty fabrics.
WHO WE ARE
We are now a modern and agile company exporting in more than 90 countries and a key player in the corrugator belts market. We also manufacture other heavy duty fabric technical products of the highest quality, like tire industry belts, fluidization belts, aircraft arresting tape and many more applications we have been developing throughout our 130 years of operation.
Our R&D department continues to develop new highly technical products to adapt to evolving equipment technologies and customer requirements in a dynamic corrugated board sector.
